AFTER CHRISTMAS...

so... its that time of year:

• where you always hear: "you don't need anything else it was just chistmas!"
• where you go to the mall and spend so much christmas money
• where there are stores with sales trying to get rid of all the christmas duds

sounds fun huh? [sarcasm]
well look at the positives!

• well no more skool for 2007!
• almost EVERYTHING at ANY store is on sale
• where you use/wear/love all the things u got for christmas that uve wanted for who knows how long!
• where you are with your family more [yes thats a good thing]
• the world seems a little more loving this time of year
• [if you don't live in phoenix] there is beautiful snow on the ground

this time of year is my fav despite the cold because its the time that everyone realizes the joy of giving and in turn recieving and being thankful

i am oober excited for the end of the year!
there is nothing special really going on but just the fact that i'm 1/2 way through the 8th grade and maintaining all A's really rocks! [ya i know im a nerd]
but its a little depressing too...like im almost leaving most of my friends that ive been with for like 10 years! and some that ive been with for 5! but we are totally still staying together no matter what! [with all hopes]

while im posting, i just went and saw I AM LEGEND and i really liked it. it was oober creepy at some times but it was a great movie. the whole message is actually really positive message about how God has a plan. there is even this really cool part where....jk i am not gonna tell...chill! lol jkjk but if you don't have nightmares after movies, u have to go see it! its worth getting scared [i think]

i am sooooo excited! my softball team is now officially 3-0!
ok [deep breath]

• our first game was against PC junior high and we won 9-1.
• our second game was against NCS and we won 21 to 1.
• our game this week was against SCA and we won 8-1!

we are doing great!
i play in CF or LF and i bat somewhere around 5th to 7th. i am sooo happy right now and we have a game on monday against GRACE and i am hoping that our streak continues.

the two buzzes

ok ALOT of u are wondering y in the world that i have two buzz story things.
well, i recently got the roxy background and because the background is black, you couldn't c the words and i couldn't change it for some reason! so i copy-pasted the txt into another "add post" thing but it came out black again. soooooo.............i got another template to put behind it. well now i can't take the other one off so now i have two buzz things.

THANKSGIVING

hey everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just wanted to say happy thanksgiving to each and everyone of u!

i love thanksgiving because you get like a 4 day weekend...or at least that's what i thought i liked it for. i never actually thought about how thanksgiving came about. about 120 people boarded a cargo ship with 30 crew members and had to sail in and out of ginormous storms and wear the same clothes for like 6 weeks. when they finally reached their destination there was nothing and i mean NOTHING! they had to leave their possessions at home. when they landed, they had to start building. many of them died. but after all of this they still thanked God for all that he had given to them. they feasted for 3 days. thats what thanksgiving is all about. not getting out of school or stuffing your face until you like wanna puke. its about thanking God for all that he has done for us. and lets face it, we have A LOT to be thankful for.

lets start with softball. well i made the A team and i am like sooooo pumped but im kinda nervous because our first games is against PC junior high and they are really good and our second game is against NW and they are pretty good too but we are still gonna kick 'em out!!!!! (sorry andyroo)

This is all of my jr. high girl-friends at Disneyland. we were all like oh my goodness! its buzz lightyear! so Brooke's mom was like go take a pic with him and we all love buzz so we all acted like we were kissing him. i was like "i luv you buzz" and Brooke and Trini were both like "you can keep buzz we love peter pan!" and i was like "you guys are pathetic." but b4 that we went on the buzz shooting ride thing and my friend Coba totally beat me in shooting the little zurg things [but buzz didn't hold that against me]

hey u guys!
i am gonna tell you a story... its about the MATTERHORN at disneyland. [brooke knows exactly what i am talking about! LOL]

Once upon a time, a girl and her friends decided to ride the Matterhorn at Disneyland. they had just come down the main drop at the end of the ride when.....click clack click clack screeeeeeech!!! they stopped. they could see the next car about to go down the drop and the girl was like totally freaking out! luckily the cars on the ride stopped. for about 5-10 minutes they sat and just talked about their "happy" day.
THERE IS NO MORAL TO THIS STORY. IF YOU HAVEN'T GUESSED YET, THAT WAS ME FREAKING OUT BECAUSE I THOUGHT WE WERE GOING TO CRASH

my volleyball team won our last game...Woohoo!
i had a totally awesome vaycay to Disneyland and Huntington beach with my church!
my friends' volleyball team totally rocks and is in a tournament right now...GO PANTHERS!!! BEAT SURRY!!! [THEY ALREADY BEAT THEM!] YES!!!!!
me and my mom wanna go see enchanted.
i had lost my phone [like my parents took it away] and i got it back last Tuesday.

VOLLEY BALL!!!!

hey u guys!
i'm kinda bummed right now. i had my first volleyball game today with my school team. i am the team captain. we have to call a coin toss to c who serves 1st at the beginning . i won the coin toss (by calling tails) we served 1st.
we lost the 1st game (that one i only played in to serve: my strong suit)
i played full time in the 2nd game and we won! my heart felt like it waz gonna pop out of my chest!
it didn't though. (duh) we went into a tie breaker. you have to call a coin toss for the tie breaker too.
i won that one. we served 1st. we lost the tie breaker by 3 :(
i am ok though. we have a rematch with that team on thursday.
THEY ARE GOING DOWN!!!!

my friend told me to remember what had happened 6 years ago. blindly and without thinking i said "what happened 6 years ago?" he told me to tell him the date of the next day and i was like "no way!!!" has it been 6 years? it seems like yesterday that i was sitting in disbelief watching the 2nd plane it the towers. YOU GUYS! as americans we should NEVER forget the things like this. and although i hadn't forgotten the event i felt terrible that i didn't realize how blind i was being. 6 years ago, the towers fell and i continued to live exactly the same way as i normally had. but u know what? some people's lives were dramatically altered! i'm sorry to those who lost loved ones that tragic day. i am praying for you. my worst fear is to lose someone i love. you who didn't lose someone: we need to remember how the terrorists were trying to rip our country apart and how they brought us to our knees and unified us that day. my dad said he remembers that night as the darkest night. and you know what? it was.

we have to remember you guys. this is what our children will learn about in history just as we have learned about wars and the depression and what not. the wars and things seem bad to us but we didn't live through them. we lived through this. now we know how our grandparents felt.

hey speaking of zac efron, did u see hsm2?? i did. i liked it i guess but i think i like 1 better... i like them both but if i chose one, id pick 1 for one reason: i have drama coming out of my ears. but this was a little redic. everyone knew troy and gab were gonna like have sharpay getting in and there was gonna b drama...i think it was a little retarded that zac sang that song on the golf course. the coreog was a little weird.

eyerus

2 years ago at summer camp i had the most humbling and life shaking experience!
the band that was playing was a supporter and a speaker for world vision which is a support group for kids in africa who are terribly affected by HIV/AIDS.
that night when all of our girls in our cabin were meeting together we were all thinking the same thing. we all felt that we needed to do something about the children starving when we can go out to a store and buy a coke for a $1.
that night we pooled all of our extra money we had brought and we managed to raise appx. $160. we funded her for 4 months advance!!!!
this last camp i went to was a family camp in california. there they showed the jr. high and highschool a video called "invisible children." it was the hardest thing besides "the passion of the Christ" that i ever had to watch. it showed how the kids are taken captive and forced to kill people for the rebles who are going against the government. kids were totured until they were brainwashed!!!
the kids were constantly in fear for their life.
now i am dedicated to sharing that feeling of needing to do something with my youth group every month and am going to get in touch with eyerus once more.

family camp

last week i went to a family camp in CA.
the highlight of my week was the family lake. they had so much to do there!
there was a blob that u see in one of my pics (it is the ACTUAL blob i went on and that is the ACTUAL lake!) u would jump on one end and shoot someone off and then u crawl onto the end and someone would shoot u off. and i mean really SHOOT u off. my friend went like 10 feet in the air!
they also had a water trampoline that u also see in the pic. it was fun too. they had kiaking and a really high slide.
the group i was in was awesome too. they had amazing staff who really got to know u and they also had great worship.
the food was good too. we had an awesome waitress who was a good friend by the 2nd day.
it was so much fun and i totally wanna go next year as well!!!!!!!!!!!!

for a while i was trapped in my anger and frustrations of my past school years and i couldn't let it go. but at a summer camp i was at the speaker talked about anger and grudges. if u hold a grudge toward someone than u are only hurting yourself. because if that person was that insensitive to hurt you, then they probably didn't put much thought into it and don't remember what they did.
they don't care about it anymore. that day i gave my anger up to Christ. i have felt so much better and continually pray that the anger will stay away. i PROMISE u!
if u truly trust that God will take ur burdens, and pray for HIM to remove them....you will be remarkably relieved.

to be completely honest i want to go back to school. (call me crazy)
i miss my bff and bf's. i mean i haven't seen them in like 3 months but it feels way longer!!!

i'm gonna miss my summer though. this summer i've been to 2 awesome camps, including my last jr. high summer camp for my church, which is where i committed to prov 15:1 which, summed up is, to return anger with love. since then, me and my little sis have grown WAY closer.
